Very dramatic.
I never know whether to try and include all the tree (impossible, and it gets cluttered by other trees) or pick a part of the tree. So I usually get up close. These are a great example of taking a few steps back.

They are both stunning shots, The second one, It took me a second to realise it, had me with my mouth open. The flecks of light in the branches make it look like a star-scape. The tree itself has a character all its own. The picture suggests all kinds of narratives. Absolutely amazing work Katie
