Invasion!!
The tree in the garden has been invaded by these ‘little’ creatures, they are about two inches long and there are lots of them!. They are caterpillars from the Buff-tip moth (took a lot of google image searching to find that out), and produce moths that have a wing span of 55-68mm.

Spring is late this year, the cherry blossom and Spirea have taken ages to blossom.
